Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our growing B2C telesales team. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role focused on driving revenue growth, improving team productivity, and scaling sales operations across Kerala.
The Sales Manager will oversee a team of Telesales Team Leads, who manage junior sales executives focused on lead conversion and consultations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven EdTech environment and knows how to lead with data, empathy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage telesales team leads and their respective telesales teams
- Drive overall team performance, lead conversion, and revenue targets
- Analyze sales funnels, lead quality, and consultation outcomes to improve performance
- Design and execute training modules, sales scripts, and onboarding processes
- Own the telesales playbook and continuously improve sales SOPs
- Monitor KPIs like talk time, conversion %, and follow-up closures
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure quality lead flow
- Deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in telesales or inside sales, preferably in B2C or EdTech
- Proven experience managing large, fast-paced telesales teams
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-first approach to sales
- Excellent coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience using CRM and sales dashboards for team performance tracking
- High emotional intelligence and a passion for mentoring future leaders
