Electrical Engineer – Quality Control (QC) Lab

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Quality Control (QC) Lab at our electrical manufacturing unit specializing in switches and MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers). The candidate will be responsible for conducting quality tests, ensuring compliance with standards, and performing defect analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality testing on switches, MCBs, and related products, including stress, insulation, and short-circuit tests.
• Ensure product compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and safety regulations.
• Investigate product defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Document test results, prepare reports, and collaborate with R&D and production teams.
• Inspect raw materials for quality assurance before production.
• Perform regular sampling to maintain consistent quality across production runs.

Technical Requirements:

• Education: BE in Electrical Engineering

• Experience: 2- 4 years in quality control or testing within an electrical manufacturing environment

• Skills:
  • Quality testing and compliance checks
  • Proficiency with high-voltage testers, insulation resistance testers, and multimeters
  • Root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Documentation and reporting of test outcomes
  • Knowledge of IEC, UL, BIS standards
• Certifications: CQE, ISO 9001:2015, Six Sigma (preferred)
